ACM NAV/COM1 and NAV/COM2 connector pinouts for wiring unsupported third party com radios to ACM. Other than the RS-232 ports (see below), all pins are analogous between each connector i.e. pin 6 is COM1 PTT for any harness plugged into NAV/COM1, and COM2 PTT for any harness plugged into NAV/COM2.
NOTE: the RS-232 port shown on pins 11+23 is only available on the NAV/COM1 connector. NAV/COM2 connector has only the one serial port shown on pins 7+19.
Serial port EFIS mapping
NAV/COM1 7+19 = PFD Serial Port #4, dual screen AFS panels only (not commonly used)
NAV/COM1 11+23 = PFD Serial Port #3, dual screen AFS panels only
NAV/COM2 7+19
= MFD Serial Port #1 on dual screen AFS panel
= PFD Serial Port #1 on single screen AFS panel, IF no remote audio panel is installed. This serial port is teed together with the serial port out to the ELT. Some ELTs may be able to receive a valid GPS signal with a serial port set to SL30 or GNC255 formats.
= Serial Port #2 on a SkyView HDX panel. This serial port is teed together with the serial port out to the ELT. Some ELTs may be able to receive a valid GPS signal with a serial port set to SL30 or GNC255 formats.
See drawing "70080 ACM-ECB Serial Port Diagram Dip Switch" for complete mapping of these serial ports to the EFIS displays.
